Wasabi Soy-Broiled Salmon

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon prepared wasabi (or to taste)
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets


Preheat broiler to high.
Combine soy sauce, honey and lime juice in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 2-4 minutes, just until sauce lightly coats back of a spoon. Remove from heat. Add wasabi and stir to combine.
Place salmon fillets in a broiler-safe baking dish. Spoon about 1/3 of sauce over fillets. Broil for about 3 minutes.
Baste with a little more sauce, then broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until salmon is just cooked through.
Remove from oven and drizzle lightly with remaining sauce. Serve immediately.
