  • 8 fresh ears corn
  • Oil of choice
  • Corn Rub:
  • 6 stalks scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt


Combine scallions, vegetable oil and salt in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave for 1 minute.

Shuck and clean corn. Rub with oil and grill over medium heat to desired doneness.

Finish by liberally rubbing the grilled corn with this flavorful oil.

Delicious paired with Vietnamese Roasted Pork Shoulder.
