Shrimp Scampi

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound medium or large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 12 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley


Heat oil a large skillet over high heat. Add shrimp, salt and pepper.
Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until shrimp turns pink and is cooked through.
Reduce heat to low and add wine, garlic, butter and parsley. Simmer for 1 minute.
Serve with crusty bread for dipping in sauce.
