- 1 pound red or black seedless grapes
- 2 medium shallots, very thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Heat oven to 350°F.
Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly drizzle with olive oil. Spread grapes, shallots and walnuts on baking sheet and pour vinegar over. Bake, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes or until grapes just start to wrinkle. Remove from oven and transfer to a bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cool to room temperature before serving.
Makes a great accompaniment to grilled or roasted meats, or enjoy with a selection of our many specialty cheeses and a loaf of artisan bread!
